Scary Times on Wall Street

October 18, 2008
I just couldn't take this week's DSFDF challenge seriously. I kept waiting for inspiration and finally decided this was the best I could do. I can't spend too much effort on the subject of people throwing their money away, and all the crooked dealing that goes on with stocks. But I didn't want to break my streak of doing all of Karin's challenges so far. So here 'tis, Haaaappyyyy Haaalllowweeeen...10" x 8" oil on canvas, (sold).

I love it!!!! I haven't seen this posted yet on DSFDF. I'm glad to get the Sneak Preview. You really took this to another level...I'm so glad the world has an artist like you. Spooktacular!

This made me LOL. A clever, funny way to look at it.The only way to look at the situation. I love it!!!

Thanks Irit and Dominique! I love Halloween so this was just a self-indulgence really. What I would have loved to do would have been to make it a big casino with slot machines but I just couldn't muster the detail-orientation that would have required, haha. Thanks for the support. Now let's all cross our fingers and toes for an easier project next time!
