My daughter has asked me to paint the moon for her. So here it is, a 24 x 24 canvas. She found a neat space-view photo showing the terrain and cloud cover and the various 'potholes.' I abstracted a lot of it -- had a lot of fun.

I really like this one, I have no knack (talent) for color. My daughter has a painting similiar to this, that she did in college. I wish she'd give it to me.
You're painted lady, again is great use of color, plus it makes me smile. Thanks for the lovely post that you left me .......I really had fun with the house.
Camille, again I love your colors. Do you have a gallery? Ever sell on Etsy?
Thank you so much, Suzy. I used to have a few paintings at Austin Figurative Gallery but am not in any gallery now. And I only know of Etsy but haven't ever bought or sold there. I haven't ruled it out for the future though!
Wow, this is very beautiful, Camille! I am giving you an Art Blog Award. Cut and paste from mine. You really deserve it. If you choose to, list 7 things you love and then list 7 fellow bloggers. Then notify the 7 that they have received awards.
Edward, as I just said on your blog, I am SO touched and honored that you would include me in the Wonderful company of those other artists who are also among MY personal favorites. Also, to be chosed BY YOU of all people, just makes me feel so humble. And I'm so excited to be given my first ever art blog award, so thank you SO SO very much. This really encourages me and just makes me happy. You're a doll.
Hugs! Camille
Janet, I'm sorry I somehow neglected to answer you earlier, I just noticed. I meant every syllable I said and I think you need to change the name of your blog to Janet's Avocation, Soon to be Vocation. I'm happy you like my colors! Thank you very much. :)
