Camille, what an appropriate take on the challenge. Ha! I am reading the series, to see what all the hubbub was about. This painting is right up there with things that tease the mind during sleep. Way to go!

It seems this challenge has brought out quite different renditions. great piece.
Fabulous! And I love your simple explanation "...she looked like she was in a state of ecstasy so I gave her a vampire bite on the neck." Ha! Another terrific job.

I started to realize that my style is taking a turn for the dark and heavy handed, (I bought a tube of black paint last week, can you tell? haha) And what's funny to me is that I have so many wonderful artist friends I've met who use such a delicate, restrained hand in their work (Christine and Dominique) -- you two especially must be surely taken aback by these big fat black lines of mine with this one. Well, maybe the pendulum will swing back for me but I had a lot fun laying the paint on thickly.
Anyway, I had a great time painting this. Experimentation is a blast. I need to do more of it, and I will -- that's the only way I'll find my true style (for as long as it lasts until I find the next true one...:)

Hola Camille. Very striking piece with excellent artwork. This piece did have a creepy feel to it...yours creeped all over the canvas and into the graveyard. Can you display this one in the daytime? I did a WIP on this project on my blog that is very informative...it looks like you could use a chuckle.
Which of your daughters has dibs on this one or are you going to make them arm wrestle for it? Perhaps Richard has a say in it, since he was so involved in this one. Very cool!
I'm crossing my fingers that the next challenge is one that I can participate in, though I've already challenged myself with doing three paintings before March 26th (small ones for friends).

I'm still laughing...this is WONDERFUL! Leave it to you to have a truly unique take on the subject.
