This painting has Camille written all over it...I'm not sure if it the sway of the trees or the colors but I think I could have picked it out of a line-up! It almost feels surreal, it's wonderful Camille!
I love this! I really like the way you handled the siding on the shed and the sunlight on it as well as the background design. It looks like such a peaceful setting too.
It makes me really happy to hear that I painted a landscape in my own style. Cool! And if it looks surreal or peaceful, I'm happy about that, too. Yay, thanks, friends!
Very cool. I love that your hubby is so talented too! Adirondack chairs are nice! Your trees remind me of Thomas Hart Benton painting strokes and colors.
Thank you so, so much, guys and gals! I will be doing more landscapes for sure. This has been a week of getting past mental blocks, which I had about both landscapes and painting children. And I'm truly enjoying facing both challenges.
Dropped in to take a long leisurely trip back through your blog and noticed I hadn't left comments on your latest. I just KNEW I had! That's what pain pills will do. Ugh. Wonder what else I've "thought" I'd done. Hopefully not bills!!!
This is so gorgeous! Love love love the bright greens and the way you brought that into the wood on the shed. Couldn't agree with Dana more...it has "Camille" written all over it. The short light strokes bring so much interest. Really nice!
This is a wonderful painting Camille, exciting and full of movement yet at the same time moody and mysterious. I love how you kept it from being too "realistic" and yet it needs no work to "read" it. Amazing.
Very nice work Camille... it seems you took on this painting with much authority (as it being a landscape)...the size of the canvas is large and you divided up the canvas with all those crazy shapes!! love it! more! more!

Oh I love those greens and the highlights make it zing... It does look like a "Camille Special", Beautiful.
So funny that Dana and Dominique mentioned that this has your style painted all over it, I was going to write the exact same thing! Wonderful.

This is wonderful Camille. Your paintings always have a certain flow to them, and your bold colours are definitely signature. Beautiful!!
Camille, you can take even a simple old woodshed and make it look magical! I love the use of your signature lime greens and chartreuses. Great job!
Nicely stylized with vivid, moody colors, well done.
Hi
This is a lovely painting. It looks like a peaceful place to me. Great work.
Great colors and movement, and as a woodworker.... Great subject matter too! G

Hi Camille, love your creative landscape too! Looking forward to see more paintings from you.
I really like your stylistic approach to this landscape! Very effective.
