Kaleidoscope Pumpkins

September 29, 2008
These pumpkins were actually white in the photo but I felt like jazzing it all up. People have asked about the eye in the upper right corner. It started as just a blue dot, then it wanted to be an eye. So I let it. 16" x 20", oil on canvas, $225 plus s&h. Sale Pending

your painting is very attractive. I like the richness of the print/rug brings to the the overhaul composition. DSFDF is great to share our talents.

I really like what you did with the pumpkin scene - great design and great colors. Very eye-catching and beautiful!

Thanks Dominique and Edward, I've enjoyed both of your work on DSFDF also. This particular subject matter really had me stumped until I got going on it. I didn't plan anything, just hoped to pull a rabbit out of a hat. Now we get to look forward to the next challenge. :) I'm getting hooked on this crazy phenomenon to tell you the truth! And 'meeting' some very nice people.
