12 x 12 x 1 1/2 oil on canvas
Here are two more of the ducks in the group I saw that day at Canyon Lake. I remember having the impression that the white one was the mother of the group, and she looked tired. I felt a connection to her! I was glad her young offspring were being fed, even if she might have chosen other fare for them, at least they wouldn't be as hungry.

Adorable peinture que celle de ces canards... barbotant mais aussi très observateurs, guettant le moindre danger... beaux reflets dans l'eau..
OK, I'm tired but I first read this as "Crayon Lake" and I thought - "How cool!". But Canyon Lake is cool, too! I love the composition of these ducks, you did a fantastic job, Camille!
Great painting, Camille! I love this!!
I really like the way they appear to be paddling in a circle. There's a great symmetry to this beautiful painting Camille.
Nice one. I like the composition and the way the duck feet are showing under water. Just enough movement in the water. Lovely Camille.
Camille, few are the master artists that paint water as well as you do! Zorn is pretty good, but goodness can you paint water and which is difficult enough, but to do it well and capture it in a painterly way is truly incredible!! When I come down to visit Austin, I will definitely hope you can go out and show me how you do it!
