Show-Off

14 x 18 oil on canvas board, $150 plus s/h, SOLD
We saw this beautiful shiny red Cadillac this past weekend at the Lone Star Roundup antique auto show. I thought with her red paint and shiny headlights she should be on the beach, showing off. So now she is.

I love old cars and this is beautiful, Camille. Why am I thinking of Stephen King's "Christine?" LOL This has such a beautiful softness and having her on the beach is inspired. A beautiful backdrop for this gorgeous old car.

Talk about bringing a painting to life! personality and glamor here. This beach babe's got it all. Warm tones, hot bumpers, curvy fenders and all! I think the horizontal strokes of high key teal in the fender and headlight are sheer genius. and the pinks! wow. Fun fun fun!

Thank you, Linda, Kay, Sherry and Liz... this one was sheer pleasure to do. And Sherry, I also get a little feeling of Bette Davis in that beach scene in 'Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?' The aged actress on the beach, all eyes are on her and she's ready for her close-up...

Thanks again and I'm happy you like!
